I cannot imagine my life without my PDA or Personal Digital Assistant device. That piece of small gadget surely helps me with my personal undertakings and office tasks. As you may notice, the line of PDA products available in the market today vary according to style and PDA necessities. Since latest PDAs are so versatile, consumers, like me, will have a variety of alternatives and PDA brands to choose from. Of course, our choice of PDA device may be in terms of a PDA's features, different PDA models, and also the "price".

Since I always use my cellphone to make a series of calls in a day and I also use my email to do most of my business undertakings, I told myself that I need to have a PDA that has both features. I also wanted my PDA to be expensive, since I do not want to see other people with the same PDA as mine. As such PDA features in mind, I knew that Blackberry 7130e is the perfect PDA for me since it has all the necessary features I need, plus the fact that it's pricey.
Wednesday, May 9. 2007
As I have said, Blackberry 7130e is a very expensive PDA. So for those peeps who cannot really afford it and who do not necessarily need constant Internet access, 7130e is not the PDA for you. Well, I guess the price I paid for my PDA handy device is worth it, because I am also very particular with designs, and 7130e is superb with its non-stocky and slim style. It also features regular SMS messages and voice calls. In addition, Blackberry 7130e's call features are completely flexible due to its loud speaker options and Bluetooth compatibility.

Internet connectivity nowadays is fast, wireless, and affordable that it has paved the way for mobile computing. But most handheld devices, specifically high-tech mobile phones and PDAs, are so fragile that one drop is all it takes for you to say goodbye to it! Thus, manufacturers are developing PDAs that could withstand even the most rugged terrain it could land itself on. But some have quite a limited set of functions and features which it has compensated for durability. Such a handheld PDA is the TDS Recon 400 Rugged PDA.
Tuesday, May 1. 2007
Most people need to be mobile in their specific chosen fields of interest. But with mobile computing now a possibility, these people who are usually exposed to actual rugged terrain are trying out handheld PDAs to their durability tests and all. The TDS Recon 400 Rugged PDA is indeed durable, yet it also has a set of very limiting functions and features. For one, it doesn't have enough system space to house the most necessary applications. The next thing is its memory capacity, which resembles the computing speed of old computing machines in the time of Lotus and WordStar.
Monday, April 30. 2007
The TDS Recon 400 Rugged PDA is a durable yet bulky handheld device. It could withstand a drop in a mud puddle, or even on a deep and rocky road. If you are actually exposed to such a damn rugged terrain most of the time, you should get this PDA rather than those PDA protectors that don't do shit for your PDA. But don't expect it to have the necessary functions that most handheld computing devices could offer you. After all, if durability has a price, it had to be limiting functions and features for this one!

Electronic gadget manufacturers are thinking of ways and means to profit on the evolving world of digital information. High-end mobile phones have a shitload of bunched-up features and functions while these gizmos keep getting smaller and smaller. But most manufacturers have not yet thought of integrating on their PDA gizmos the function of standalone installations of PDA programs. One such device is the Palm PDA.
Wednesday, April 25. 2007
You see, with a Palm PDA, a desktop computing machine is required to install programs and other whathaveyous on it. This is done by connecting it via USB to a desktop computing machine's USB port. Another method is via bluetooth connectivity. Some may even use infrared connections between their Palm PDA and their desktop computer. But the PDA should be bluetooth-enabled or infrared-enabled so as to access these options for connectivity. Plus, the desktop computer should have an infrared port or a bluetooth one.
Tuesday, April 24. 2007
The main disadvantage of Palm PDA is not being able to install applications while on the damn road. I thought these handheld gizmos promote wireless and mobile information access! How in hell could a person fully access its mobility and wireless functions and features when you need a damn desktop PC just to install programs on your PDA! Would that mean we should get a handheld computer over the Palm PDA? I do think so, you know.

I think it's a damn good thing digital information technology is fully customizable! This way, we could develop applications and equipment for each of our respective purposes. For instance, since our Korean friends are having a damn hard time learning our language, they now have a PDA with full Korean language support, not to mention an English-Korean dictionary application bundled with the PDA! Well, it seems like our Brit friends have also exploited the customizability of these electronic gizmos!
No, the new Brit-friendly PDA isn't for lefties, and neither does it have its main functions and features on the wrong side of things. But I think acquiring this PDA from the European market would pose more of a problem than a convenience to most people. Well, I think you'd have to be a full-fledged Brit in order for you to buy this gizmo from them! Yes, I think their national pride comes along even with the electronic gizmos they develop!
Anyway, this new PDA was named Filewalker. It was designed and developed by a German company who call themselves Invair Technologies. Precision comes with everything from Germany, and I think this gizmo well addresses that fact! Plus, this gizmo is backed up with the main produce of open source development, which is the Linux OS. Thus, if you want a piece of German gadgetry, then muster up your best Brit accent, and go get this PDA!

Back when we had green-tinted monochrome monitors, literal floppy disks, etc, we wouldn't have known digital information technology would be this big in just so much short a time! Now we have handheld computers, laptop PCs, mobile phones, and the like for our computing needs. These computing devices now also provide us with access to the information on the internet. But these devices also have increased the target platforms of those hackers and virus programmers on where to launch either their profit-induced attacks, or their power-boasting ventures!
With this, a company has released a security application for PDAs. Since PDAs are now a part of our lives, we would be needing more protection from those snoopers and viruses now, wouldn't we? Specially if we have all sorts of important information stored in those PDAs that we carry along each and every mobile minute of our lives! The application is called PDA Defense, which have also added more pressure on the developers of the program! After all, you should be giving a program this name if it actually secured the information a PDA user has on the device, as much as the entire system of the PDA itself! As for me, I just don't trust these security programs, specially if their intended for use on handheld devices. I just make it a point to store the information that is very confidential and important on removable media devices. Plus, I make it a point to regularly create restoration points on my handheld devices, as much as on my desktop computer, just in case something goes haywire! If you don't have restoration features on your PDA, then I suggest you sell it to your not-so-techie friends and go buy yourself one with such a feature!

Some of my Korean friends are ranting and raving about a new handheld device that is soon to be released in the Korean market. If they weren't able to translate this information so as for me to understand, I would've thought they were discussing last night's stag party! Well, in listening closely to their conversation, I generally got the idea that it was something they were all looking forward to.
This new multimedia device that is soon to be released in the Korean market is a new multimedia PDA. It basically has the same features as to the PDAs we have here, but of course, it has additional features that best suits a Korean's preference for mobile devices. This PDA has been developed by CIIT, a company which is a very well-known producer of handheld devices in Korea.
I don't know if this device is fundamentally usable to the American market, but I don't think any self-respecting American would give himself a hard time trying to access the features and functions of this PDA just to save a few bucks! That's right, 'cause this PDA is Linux-based, which means that it is backed up by open source development, which would generally make it cheaper than those PDAs we have here. Well, at least it has an English-Korean dictionary. This would be very helpful for those Korean friends of ours who spend a lot of cash just trying to learn the English language. With this tool, the Koreans of the world would have an easier time being as productive as they want to be. Well, this is because this device has fast internet connection capabilities, as well as support for multimedia playback!

The busy nature of people these days are being given an answer by the thing itself which made such people busier than usual. That's right, I'm talking about digital information technology. Because with the developments of such technologies involving communications and infromation, it is a known fact that with speed comes maximum performance.
Thus, people are being given options in which to easily manage the clutter of everyday living. Back then, people used to carry around those bulky organizers, which were used to store information on a person's everyday ventures. Now, we have PDAs, those electronic devices which give us flexibility and portability in managing the information we need for our everyday routine. Unfortunately, PDAs are fast being replaced as a personal time management assistant by mobile phones. This is because mobile phones nowadays have the same features of a PDA, apart from being equipped with telephoning capabilities! Thus, PDA manufacturers are developing the PDAs the have released with internet connectivity, not to mention networking capabilities with your desktop PC. In addition, with the breakthrough of wireless internet connectivity, a PDA can now access wireless networks. Imagine what the evolution of PDAs could do more for your time and activity management in the very near future.

I think we PDA users all know what a clutter-free system means to these handheld electronic gadgets. Well, in case your a new PDA user, that would have to be getting the maximum performance out of your handheld PDA. Plus, boosting the speed of the functions and features you frequently access on your high-end PDA is also one of the main aspects brought about by maintaining your PDA's system.
Thus, it is quite important to organize the applications you have on your high-end PDA. With this, a simple thing to do would be to categorize the applications you have on your high-end PDA. Doing this is easy, and if you don't know how it is done, then simply follow the equally simple instructions I have given below.
First, access the menu option on your high-end PDA by clicking on the icon. This would bring a list, in which selecting the Category option, would, of course, be the thing for you to do. Finally, select the applications you want to categorize differently, then select another category different from the category that it already has on your high-end PDA. Then, navigate back to the homescreen of your high-end PDA. Well, quite a simple tweak, yes, but the results would work wonders for your high-end PDA's performance.

Oftentimes, modern electronic equipment usually work seamlessly together with each other. These gadgets transfer data between each other, and communicate in such ways and means that would make us think how much human they all are. With this, I have a tip in which would make you control your high-end Mac computer using your high-end PDA.
You may be wondering what can you do about the Bluetooth connectivity both your Mac computer and your high-end PDA have. Well, with a special application designed for such a purpose, you could use your high-end PDA to act seamlessly as a functional remote to control a high-end Mac computer. Anyway, isn't that's what Bluetooth technology is all about? Yeah, connecting Bluetooth-enabled gizmos to work with each other without the normal fuss you'll get from wires, cords, and cables.
The Clicker program is just the software tool for this job. The release of its prior version has shown what you can get with your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone and your high-end Mac computer. But the latest release of this program has been designed to provide efficient communication between your high-end PDA and your Mac computer. Go on right ahead and get hold of this cool application. Try it out and determine the type of remote control features and functions it give your high-end PDA or your Mac.

In this modern age, the high-tech electronic equipment that we once knew to be large and bulky can now fit snugly in the palms of our hands. Who knew that PDAs would be a big boom in mobile computing technology? When you think about it, who even knew that mobile computing would be possible this soon? Definitely not me, for I don't even know when PDAs were released for public distribution! I guess this often happens with the rapid developments of digital technology.
Then came wireless technology. It was a wave that swept people off their feet, which provided more flexibility and freedom despite being totally mobile! With this, wireless PDAs are now selling like marijuana in Jamaica! But did you know that even if your high-end PDA does not have built-in wireless capabilities, you could still access wirless connectivity with your PDA?
This requires you to acquire additional components for your high-end PDA. Wireless add-on tools are now available for earlier versions of PDAs. With these tools, you can now access the privileges and benefits wireless technology have in store for your high-end PDA! Whether you plan on acquiring wireless PDAs or just stick with your old PDA version, chances are, you'll gain wireless access if ever you need it!

PDAs are much like most modern electronic devices such as desktop and laptop computers. They have video cards, motherboards, and audio devices. They also have support for connecting to the internet, as well as data storage devices. Well, the data storage capacities of PDAs are smaller compared to desktop and laptop computers, of course. This is why keeping your system clean from unwanted files is a must when it comes to maximizing your PDA's performance. Another thing is to decrease the load your PDA's video device constantly has to face with those icons and graphical media files.
So, it would be a good thing to reduce the application icons on your high-tech PDA's main graphical user interface. All you need to do this is to access the properties of your PDA's main graphical user interface. After doing so, select the list view option, and you'll end up with a list view that doesn't clog your PDA's main graphical user interface with a clutter of icons. These icons cause your PDA to allot more processor and memory power so as to support your PDA's video device. Getting rid of these application icons and viewing your applications in the list view option reduce overload on your video buffer. Thus, doing so would evidently cause your high-tech PDA to perform better and a whole lot faster.

Handheld electronic devices need to be kept clean in order to provide the user maximum performance and functionality. This is because dirt and dust can accumulate on either its keypad or surface and reduce the functions of its keys. Another thing is that the dust and dirt can seep inside the PDA and cause damage to its electronic parts which are very sensitive.
You often find your PDA dusty and dirty even when you just leave it sitting on your office desk for just an hour or so. Of course, you wonder how in hell did your PDA accumulate such dirt and dust in just a short duration of time. Well, this is mainly because your PDA has a constant supply of static electricity. Yes, and static electricity, from what we know of it, attracts every bit of dust and dirt that come in close range to the thing charged with it.
So, it would be best to wipe the device often with a piece of cloth from your local laundry shop that has the ability to control static electricity. This capability is generally called static-cling control, and this piece of cloth can be bought from any laundry shop in town. Using this piece of cloth would evidently reduce the static clinging properties that your PDA has, but you should use it often in cleaning your PDA. I suggest you do it regularly since your PDA has a constant charge of static electricity.

High-tech mobile devices are now a booming industry, specially when it comes to handheld computers and PDAs. The choice of most people when it comes to mobile computing is the basic PDA. A PDA is about the size of a conventional scientific calculator, but it doesn't come with a lot of buttons that are very difficult to understand the functions and features of each button. Neither does it have to be treated as a scientific calculator!
In maximizing the overall performance of your high-tech PDA, it is fairly reasonable to start with its display monitor. You see, a clear and sharp display would evidently provide you with accurate access to the features and functions of your PDA. Thus, cleaning your PDA's display monitor regularly is a tip that is simple yet effective in providing you with the clearest and sharpest display you could get from your PDA.
A wet cloth is all it needs to clean your PDA's display monitor. An effective means of cleaning it would be with the use of a small piece of cloth dampened with cleaning fluid used for the lens of cameras. Never use water. Also, don't pour the fluid directly on any portion of the surface of the display monitor. This is because the fluid could get in the edges of your PDA straight to its sensitive electronic parts inside. Another thing, you should clean the display monitor of your PDA with slow and smooth motion. As gently as possible, for hard scraping could very well damage the glass panel surface of your PDA's display monitor.

I am just your typical happy-go-lucky-person. I don't organize my files, I never write my appointments, and I don't keep track of time and schedules. These are the reasons I am grateful for the onset of various computer software packages for my personal digital assistant.
Why do I love my Palm PDA? Well, it allows me to effectively access, collect, organize, store and process a myriad of information. It comes in very handy and can fit my pockets very well. Unlike desktops or organizers, my PDA is always with me.
It never cease to amaze me how a small device can work as powerful as its bigger counterparts. It has a fast processor and a big chunk of memory and is capable of running various kinds of software. More importantly, it helped me become more organized by storing and retrieving phone numbers and addresses. The to-do-list and calendar systematized my appointment and tasks. Further, the memo pad proved itself to be useful for taking notes and personal comments during meetings. If Palm PDAs have disadvantages, I say it's nothing compared to the countless benefits I received from using it. The dollar I used for buying it is worth it.
